{"id":642,"date":"2026-07-15T14:19:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T14:19:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bergantin.do\/?p=642"},"modified":"2026-08-03T14:21:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T14:21:00","slug":"punta-bergantin-y-dream-project-firman-acuerdo-para-impulsar-la-formacion-tecnica-juvenil-en-villa-montellano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bergantin.do\/en\/punta-bergantin-y-dream-project-firman-acuerdo-para-impulsar-la-formacion-tecnica-juvenil-en-villa-montellano\/","title":{"rendered":"Punta Bergant\u00edn and DREAM Project sign agreement to promote youth technical training in Villa Montellano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Santo Domingo.-<\/strong> As part of its commitment to sustainable development and generating opportunities for the community, the Punta Bergant\u00edn tourism project signed a collaboration agreement with DREAM Project to implement the \u201cA Ganar\u201d program in the municipality of Villa Montellano, Puerto Plata.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is aimed at young people who are currently neither studying nor working, with the purpose of strengthening their job placement opportunities through comprehensive training that combines the development of socio-emotional skills, technical training and practical experiences in real work environments.<\/p>\n<p>The program uses sport as a pedagogical tool to promote values such as discipline, leadership, effective communication and teamwork, while developing skills aligned with the needs of the labor market, especially the tourism and service sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Andr\u00e9s Marranzini Grull\u00f3n, executive director of the Punta Bergant\u00edn Trust, emphasized that: \u201dThe development of Punta Bergant\u00edn must generate tangible benefits for its surroundings. With the *A Ganar* program, we are investing in the talent of our youth, providing them with the tools to access quality jobs and preparing them to meet the growing demand for human capital that drives the tourism development of Puerto Plata.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The program will train 50 young people and will be developed in four stages: strengthening soft skills, technical training, internships in companies, and a support and follow-up process to facilitate their entry into the workforce. As a complement, graduating participants will be referred to INFOTEP&#039;s English program, with the aim of further strengthening their professional profile and increasing their employment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>This alliance between Punta Bergant\u00edn and DREAM Project will contribute to the development of local talent, reducing employability gaps in communities near the project and strengthening the availability of skilled human capital to meet the needs of the province&#039;s tourism growth.
