{"id":571,"date":"2025-04-15T15:13:52","date_gmt":"2025-04-15T15:13:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bergantin.do\/?p=571"},"modified":"2026-01-28T17:41:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T17:41:42","slug":"realizan-operativo-de-limpieza-en-playa-punta-bergantin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bergantin.do\/en\/realizan-operativo-de-limpieza-en-playa-punta-bergantin\/","title":{"rendered":"Cleanup operation carried out on Punta Bergant\u00edn beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Montellano, Puerto Plata.\u2013<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Trust for the Economic and Social Development of the Punta Bergant\u00edn Area, in conjunction with the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Tourism, the Montellano City Council, and the Dominican Navy, carried out a cleanup operation on Punta Bergant\u00edn beach, with the goal of maintaining hygiene and environmental protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the day, a community agreement was reached on the use of the beach during the 2025 Easter season, which established the posting of signs with messages such as &quot;No littering&quot; and &quot;No loud music.&quot; In addition, the Central Directorate of the Tourist Police (POLITUR) pledged to increase patrols in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The opportunity was also taken to request that the Montellano City Council schedule garbage truck visits at least twice a week to prevent the accumulation of waste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These actions are part of the Punta Bergant\u00edn Trust&#039;s commitment to sustainable development and the preservation of the environment where the project is being carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>About the Punta Bergant\u00edn Trust<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Punta Bergant\u00edn is a trust headed by Banco de Reservas, whose objective is to create a new tourism dynamic in the province of Puerto Plata, transforming this corner of the north coast into an internationally renowned destination through comprehensive development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative covers more than 10 million square meters in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which will be preserved through a low-density urban development model. It will include hotels, recreational areas, and horizontal and vertical housing, with the goal of offering a first-class tourist and real estate destination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project includes strategic alliances: the Martin\u00f3n Group will build a Hyatt &quot;Inclusive Collection&quot; hotel; a Meli\u00e1 hotel will also be developed, with a joint investment between Meli\u00e1 International Hotels and the Puntacana Group. The Velutini and Humano groups will also develop a Westin hotel.
