The event brought together business figures, local authorities and leaders of the region&#039;s tourism sector.<\/p>\n<p>In his presentation entitled <strong>\u201cPunta Bergant\u00edn: Promoting the Tourism and Socioeconomic Development of Puerto Plata\u201d<\/strong>, Marranzini shared a detailed vision of how the project seeks to transform the northern region of the country into a world-class tourist destination. He highlighted that Punta Bergant\u00edn is not only a real estate and hotel project, but a comprehensive initiative that combines <strong>Innovation, sustainability and community engagement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Marranzini assured that the project will not only attract high-level tourism, but also strengthen local communities and generate employment opportunities, highlighting that Punta Bergant\u00edn includes the construction of <strong>4,000 hotel rooms<\/strong>, the integration of renowned North American hotel brands and the creation of a <strong>Innovation District<\/strong>, which will position the region as a key center for investment in <strong>Technology and entrepreneurship<\/strong>. In addition, a <strong>public and private beach club<\/strong>, a <strong>world class golf club<\/strong>, and a <strong>film studio<\/strong>, which will attract both tourists and international companies, diversifying the local economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMARRANZINI APPOINTMENT,\u201d said Marranzini.<\/p>\n<p>One of the aspects highlighted by the director of the trust was the impact that Punta Bergant\u00edn will have on job creation and the development of local capacities. It is projected that the project will create more than <strong>1,300 direct jobs<\/strong> and thousands of indirect jobs, driving the growth of the local economy in sectors such as construction, hospitality, entertainment and technology.<\/p>\n<p>Marranzini also highlighted that the project has a solid strategy for the <strong>productive chain<\/strong>, benefiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and local suppliers. \u201cWe want this project to be seen not only as a tourist development, but as a <strong>development engine<\/strong> for the entire northern region, where local actors play an active role in the tourism value chain,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Punta Bergant\u00edn has been designed with a strong focus on the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)<\/strong> of the United Nations, seeking to promote gender equality, generate decent jobs and ensure the economic well-being of local communities.
