Villa Montellano. – The Punta Bergantín Trust donated a solid waste compactor truck to the Villa Montellano City Council, an initiative aimed at strengthening the council's operational capacity and contributing to the improvement of the services it offers to the community.
Andrés Marranzini, executive director of the Punta Bergantín Trust, stated that this contribution is part of the institution's social commitment to the community of which it is a part.
“"With the delivery of this vehicle," he emphasized, "this institution reaffirms its willingness to continue supporting projects and initiatives that contribute to the well-being of citizens and the strengthening of municipal institutions.".
The vehicle is an Isuzu brand truck, model ELF 2026, equipped with a 14 cubic yard compactor box made of high-strength steel, a 190 horsepower (HP) turbo diesel engine and a six-speed mechanical transmission.
The completely new unit is equipped with a hydraulic system for lifting containers, rear horizontal discharge, a leachate tank with a capacity of 200 liters and an efficient loading and unloading cycle of just 20 seconds.
Furthermore, it has a three-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty on parts and services, guaranteeing reliable performance for solid waste collection and handling in the municipality.
During the handover, members of the Villa Montellano municipal council participated, as well as some of the citizens invited to the event.
